Cumbria In Bloom

The parish is to enter Cumbria In Bloom 2011. This will be a steep learning curve as this is our first time, and it is not just about flower tubs. Several volunteers are already starting on a variety of tasks.
For more information or to get involved please contact Betty Bolton or Alan Jardine. Updates will appear in Keynotes.

Parish Boundary Change

The Drigg & Carleton Parish boundary has altered/'grown' as of April 2011. Effectively all of Holmrook is now in the parish, this includes the likes of Greengarth and Holmrook Hall. This only relates to the civil parish, and has no affect on the church parishes of St Peter's, Drigg and St Paul's, Irton.
