The calendar is available from Spindlecraft (next to Drigg Railway Station).
The calendar is sold in aid of St Peter's Church, Drigg, Cumbria.
It was inspired by the dozens of scarecrow characters which appeared throughout
the parish to celebrate Drigg Harvest Festival 2008 and which made everyone smile.
Many thanks to the parishioners and local organisations who created them, those
who shared their photos and to everyone who helped to make the Harvest weekend such a success.
The plan launch will be at the Annual Parish Meeting, everyone is welcome to attend at 7pm on 15th April 2008 at the Parish Hall. Copies of the published plan will be available to take away. Parish Councillors will be available to answer questions.

There was an excellent response to the Parish Plan Questionnaires, with the majority
of house holds responding. The mountain of raw data has been collated into some sort of order with
many hours hard work by Dave Millington, the new council clerk. There will be an open evening where the Parish Council will
welcome all parishioners to a presentation of work so far.
7pm : 28th November : Drigg & Carleton Parish Hall.
